President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan reviewed a presentation on proposals to develop urbanization processes and increase green areas in Tashkent.

According to Presidential Decree No. PP-388 dated December 26, 2025, the ministry is tasked with launching mechanisms for electronic budget application formation based on current classification by August 1, 2026.

A gas explosion occurred in an apartment building in Kokand, Fergana Region. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on February 25 at 14:47, a report was received about a flash in a building in the "Buston" neighborhood. The explosion was followed by a fire, which almost completely destroyed an apartment on the second floor. Neighboring apartments were also damaged.

An explosion occurred in a residential building in the Payariq district of Samarkand region. Five members of one family—a couple and their three children—were injured. Later, one of the victims died in the hospital.
