The adoption of an escrow law, planned for January to prevent fraud in housing purchases, is being delayed. According to Sherzod Kudbiyev, Chairman of the National Committee for Urbanization, the document is currently with the government, undergoing coordination with the Ministry of Justice, and may be submitted to the Legislative Chamber in March-April.
Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has reviewed the key parameters of a new international airport project planned for construction in the Tashkent region, according to the presidential press service. The first phase of the project includes building a passenger terminal covering 208.4 thousand square meters (20.8 hectares) and two runways, each 4 kilometers long.
