Shahrukh Mamadjanov has been appointed as the head of the apparatus of the Tashkent city mayor's office, the city administration reported.

The previous head, Yuldash Ismailov, left the post due to a transfer to another job.

The 42-year-old Mamadjanov graduated from the Chirchik Higher Tank Command School, Tashkent State University of Law, and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

Prior to his new appointment, he headed the Tashkent city branch of the Agency for the Development of Public Service.
