️ President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on February 24 aimed at effectively organizing the construction of multi-apartment buildings and accelerating the provision of housing for the population (UP-29). The document is designed to stimulate housing construction and create conditions for citizens to realize their right to housing. The supply in the real estate market will increase proportionally to demand.

️ According to the decree, the investment-construction period for housing projects will be reduced by 1.5 times, taking into account land allocation and obtaining permits. Projects that meet the criteria for selecting new territories for "New Uzbekistan" complexes in Karakalpakstan and other regions will receive special status and be able to use special procedures and funding sources.

️ In developing infrastructure for these complexes, renewable energy sources, energy-saving equipment, and alternative heating systems will be introduced, with plans to make the transport environment "green." Based on the experience of Tashkent Invest and Samarqand Invest companies, investment companies will be established in all regions to act as "bridges" between business and the state.

️ Applications for subsidies under the mortgage program through the subsidiya.idm.uz system will be automatically checked for compliance with social criteria, eliminating human factors. Starting April 1, self-employed citizens will be able to obtain mortgage loans from the budget on equal terms with citizens with official income, provided they voluntarily pay social tax for the previous year. From 2027, this requirement will extend to a two-year period, and from 2028, to a three-year period.
