️ The government of Uzbekistan implemented a large-scale repatriation program for its citizens from Middle Eastern countries between March 1 and 5. As of the morning of March 5, a total of 9,361 individuals have been safely returned to their homeland.

️ The majority of the repatriated citizens – 8,114 people – were brought back from Saudi Arabia via regular and additional charter flights. Active efforts were also undertaken in the United Arab Emirates, from where 1,192 Uzbek citizens have been evacuated to date. Special flights ensured the safe return of citizens from Bahrain, Iran, and Oman.

️ Evacuation operations are currently focused on countries where airspace remains open for civilian aviation. As restrictions are lifted, the government plans to organize additional flights for the remaining citizens.

️ Official authorities are urging citizens abroad to remain calm, avoid panic, and act with deliberation. It is crucial to strictly adhere to the regulations of their host countries and to trust only official information provided by Uzbek state bodies and diplomatic missions.
