️ Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has issued directives to strengthen security measures for the country's critical infrastructure facilities. This was announced by the head of state's advisor and press secretary, Aibek Smadiyarov.

️ The relevant instructions were given to the Prime Minister, heads of law enforcement agencies, the "Samruk-Kazyna" fund, national companies, and regional governors. They are tasked with intensifying work to protect vital facilities, as well as transport, energy, and utility infrastructure, including airports, seaports, and river ports.

️ Coordination of this work has been assigned to the Secretary of the Security Council, Gizat Nurdauletov. This decision is seen as part of a comprehensive initiative aimed at bolstering the nation's internal security amid growing regional tensions.

️ Previously, the President instructed Nurdauletov, together with the heads of law enforcement agencies and relevant ministries, to present a plan for emergency measures. The document must account for the escalating situation around Iran and potential risks to Kazakhstan's stable environment, reflecting concerns over possible threats stemming from regional instability.
