The presented photographs from the cities of Jeonju, Gwangju, and Naju in South Korea were taken by Gazeta photojournalist Madina A’zam. Currently studying at Chungbuk Health & Science University in Jeonju, Madina has captured the country's spring season through her lens.

In early April, South Korea experiences warm and pleasant daytime weather, but mornings and evenings become significantly cooler. During this period, the country observes a brief cold snap called Ggotsaem chuwi (Kkotsem chuvi), meaning "cold envious of flower blossoms," which coincides with the peak bloom of cherry blossoms.

Among the images are scenes of Osong Station and urban landscapes in Jeonju, as well as the Yongsangang River bank in Naju and a scenic cherry blossom lane. These scenes reflect the arrival of spring and the beauty of nature, but the presence of the cold snap prompts considerations about climate change and seasonal uncertainties.
