Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held telephone talks with foreign ministers of Persian Gulf countries.
"We had an effective telephone conversation with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. We exchanged views in detail on the situation in the Middle East. Expressing our solidarity with Qatar, we conveyed sincere condolences on behalf of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. We emphasized the importance of strict adherence to the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and non-use of force," said Saidov.
In addition, Bakhtiyor Saidov reported that he held telephone talks with Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarah Al-Sabah, Oman's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi, and Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi.
According to the Uzbek Foreign Minister, the discussions included an exchange of views on the development of the regional situation and its impact on stability and security.
