In the clip, the man said phrases like, "Look, no one is left, the rats have run away. There's no one," which quickly spread across Israeli social media segments, causing significant public outrage and anger among the local community.
️ The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel commented on the incident. According to the statement, the embassy's consular department promptly contacted N.Kh. upon learning of the situation and held a relevant conversation with him. Explanatory work was also conducted with Israeli citizen A.Kh., who had reported the matter to the police authorities. The embassy's message stated that N.Kh. is currently in safe conditions, and the issue is under the control of the consular department.
️ The embassy urged Uzbek citizens in Israel to strictly adhere to local legal requirements, exercise caution in their behavior, refrain from provocations, and unquestioningly follow all safety recommendations issued by the Israeli Home Front Command during rocket attacks. This incident highlights the potential negative repercussions for the image of Uzbek migrants in the country, amid ongoing regional tensions.
️ Israeli citizen A.Kh., who reported the case to the police, announced on his Facebook page that he was invited to the Uzbek embassy. He claimed that the ambassador and consul warmly received him and informed him that serious measures had already been taken against the citizen prior to Israeli police intervention. It is allegedly expected that the young man will be deported from the country, and appropriate measures will be applied against him in accordance with Uzbek laws. The ambassador purportedly strongly condemned any manifestations of anti-Semitism and expressed support for the aggrieved party.
️ A.Kh. also emphasized that this situation should not lead to generalizations or blame against all Uzbeks. He noted that most Uzbek citizens working in Israel are patient, fair, and kind people, and expressed a desire to continue respecting and valuing them in the future. This case underscores the consequences of provocative actions that could strain relations between migrant communities and local populations in a volatile regional context.
