In the first quarter of 2026, Uzbekistan recorded 14 births where the father was over 70 years old, according to the State Statistics Committee.

A total of 191,086 live births were registered during this period. Among newborns, 16,398 were born to fathers under 25 years old.

The largest share—158,984 births—came from fathers aged 25-39. Fathers aged 40-59 accounted for 15,542 births, while men aged 60 and older fathered 162 children, including 14 over 70.
