In Tashkent, operational measures have halted illegal distribution of potent medications, with 3,400 units seized from illicit circulation.
According to the Telegram channel XAVFSIZLIK, law enforcement stopped and inspected a 30-year-old resident of Zangiata district, Tashkent region, and his 27-year-old acquaintance from Samarkand, finding 8,400 units of the potent drug "Regapen."
Further operations revealed a house in Chilanzar district, Tashkent, used as a temporary storage, containing an additional 12,600 units of "Regapen" and 10,000 units of various handmade medications.
Additionally, 500 vials for packaging and a mini-printer for labeling, intended for marking counterfeit drug packages, were confiscated.
In a separate operation in the capital, a 32-year-old man was detained while selling six units of the potent drug "Zardex" for 600,000 soums.
Investigation found that the drugs were supplied by a 39-year-old previously convicted resident of Namangan, also detained in Tashkent. From his Tracker vehicle, 12,400 units of "Zardex" and 14 units of "Regapen" were seized.
Criminal cases have been initiated for both incidents, with investigative actions ongoing.
Law enforcement urged citizens to report illegal trafficking of narcotic and psychotropic substances via the State Security Service hotline 1520, with confidentiality guaranteed.
