Uzbekistan has established a clear and strict procedure for installing temporary structures on open grounds, ranging from New Year trees to stages and screens. The new requirements are aimed at enhancing the safety and stability of such objects.
The relevant departmental act has been registered with the Ministry of Justice. According to the document, the installation of temporary structures is permitted only with the involvement of qualified specialists and based on project documentation. The structures must be resistant to external impacts, including wind, rain, and earthquakes.
Separate requirements concern the organization of space inside the structures. The width of passageways depends on their length and must be at least 1.2–1.6 meters. The number of seating places is also regulated – no more than 50 in one row with one-sided or two-sided exits.
Standards have been set for the distance between rows of seats and passageways, as well as requirements for materials: metal structures must have anti-corrosion coating, and wooden structures must have fire-resistant treatment. Special attention is paid to safety: warning signs are mandatory, and exits must be available to ensure quick and safe evacuation of people in case of emergencies.
It is recalled that last summer, strong winds damaged residential houses, tearing off the roof of a house in the Bostanlyk district. This incident underscores the relevance of the new regulations.
