️ Rasul Kusherbayev, an advisor to the head of the Ecology Committee, has reported a critical situation regarding electric vehicle infrastructure in the capital of Uzbekistan. According to him, due to unjustified orders from the city administration, entrepreneurs are being forced to cease operations of charging stations across Tashkent, threatening the development of "green" transport in the country.

️ At the "Novza" metro station, the public figure demonstrated a site where a charging station was recently dismantled. Kusherbayev emphasized that entrepreneurs installed this equipment legally, based on presidential decrees and incentives for developing eco-friendly transport. He stated, "Years of work have been nullified. Without any basis, especially in Yunusabad and other districts, charging stations are being disconnected from electricity and demolished under various pretexts."

️ According to Kusherbayev, the situation stems from an "oral order by one of the officials in the Tashkent city administration." As a result, entrepreneurs facing illegal dismantling and disconnection of utilities will be forced to suspend operations of the remaining stations across the city in the coming days. This jeopardizes the feasibility of using electric vehicles in the capital, as most owners rely on publicly accessible charging points.

️ The advisor reported that he has already appealed to the Tashkent prosecutor with a demand to halt the illegal actions of the city authorities, but has not yet received a clear response on measures taken. This incident highlights significant challenges in implementing national policies for sustainable transport at the local level.
