️ According to a decree issued by the President of Uzbekistan on February 24, self-employed individuals who have voluntarily paid social taxes will be allocated mortgage loans from the state budget. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Huquqiy axborot.” The decree’s main objectives include improving housing provision for the population and developing “New Uzbekistan” residential complexes.
️ The decree establishes procedures for selecting new territories for “New Uzbekistan” complexes in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regions, as well as granting status to such projects. This will enable the application of existing regulations and funding sources to these complexes. Additionally, it envisions the use of renewable energy sources, energy-saving equipment, and alternative heating systems in the road-transport infrastructure projects of “New Uzbekistan” complexes, along with creating a “green” transport environment.
️ The mortgage loan program, based on market principles, will commence on April 1 and be funded from budget resources for citizens with official income, as well as self-employed individuals who have fully paid voluntary social taxes. Furthermore, based on the experience of “Toshkent Invest kompaniyasi” JSC and “Samarqand Invest kompaniyasi” JSC, investment companies will be established in the form of joint-stock companies to serve as a bridge between entrepreneurs and state bodies.
️ The process of assessing citizens’ compliance with social criteria for subsidies to purchase apartments in multi-unit buildings will be automated through the “subsidiya.idm.uz” software system, operating without human intervention. This highlights the integration of new technologies into administrative processes.
