In Uzbekistan, the base norm for natural gas consumption during the heating season, set at 500 cubic meters, is not in effect in March. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

According to the ministry, the increased base norm was in effect from November to February. Starting March 1, it has been reduced to 100 cubic meters. This means that for consumption up to 100 cubic meters, a tariff of 1,000 soums applies, while for volumes from 101 to 2,500 cubic meters, 1,800 soums is charged.

In 2025, due to cold weather, the norm was extended until April 1.

The ministry reminds that, in accordance with presidential decisions, needy families receive monthly compensations for electricity and natural gas.

Compensations are provided as follows:

It is noted that while compensations previously applied only in winter months, they are now paid monthly throughout the year.
