️ On the seventh day of the border conflict, the confrontation between Islamabad and Kabul has transitioned into a phase of full-scale technological and mobilization warfare. Pakistan reports strikes on 180 targets while asserting it has no plans to change the government in Afghanistan. Taliban forces are responding with drone attacks on strategic bases in Balochistan and mobilizing thousands of volunteers in Panjshir province.

️ Despite ongoing combat clashes, official Islamabad defines the objectives of its operations as counter-terrorism. A high-ranking representative of Pakistan's security service emphasized in an interview with Bloomberg that Islamabad's actions are not aimed at destabilizing the ruling government in Afghanistan. According to him, the sole purpose of the operations is to neutralize groups opposing the Pakistani leadership. The Pakistani side claims to have successfully hit approximately 180 targets and captured over 30 border posts, stressing that strikes will continue until "reliable guarantees" are obtained to halt cross-border threats. For their part, Taliban representatives report significant losses among Pakistani forces, although these data have not yet been confirmed.

️ The conflict is characterized by active use of UAVs from both sides. Taliban forces conducted a drone strike on the largest border center of the Pakistani army in Balochistan (Kachlag—Quetta district), calling it a response to airstrikes in Kandahar province. Additionally, the "Khalid bin Walid" army corps reported the destruction of a Pakistani reconnaissance drone in the Lalpur district of Nangarhar province. According to Afghan sources, the device caught fire and fell after being fired upon from a border post; Islamabad did not comment on these reports.

️ Against the backdrop of hostilities, a meeting took place in Kabul between Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi and Chinese Ambassador Jiao Xin. Muttaqi officially characterized Pakistan's actions as a "violation of Afghanistan's territorial integrity." The Chinese diplomat, in turn, called for de-escalation through diplomatic channels, noting that regional instability does not serve the interests of either side.

️ Meanwhile, inside Afghanistan, a surge in mobilization activity is being recorded. In Panjshir province, representatives of the security command announced the registration of 4,176 volunteers who expressed readiness to deploy to the combat zone.

️ Tensions between the states have provoked hate-based incidents outside the region. In New York State (USA), police detained 18-year-old Afghan Hussein Haidar. He has been charged with assaulting a neighbor of Pakistani origin. According to the investigation's version, the motive for the beating was the victim's nationality amid news of the conflict in their homeland. The court set bail for the accused at $10,000.
