Manchester City kept their slim Premier League title hopes alive with a crucial 3-0 victory over Brentford at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola's side struggled to break down a stubborn Brentford defense for nearly an hour, but Jeremy Doku's stunning strike opened the scoring in the 60th minute.
Doku, who had scored twice against Everton earlier, picked up the rebound from his initial blocked shot and curled a superb effort into the top corner from the left side of the penalty area.
Erling Haaland doubled the lead in the 75th minute, back-heeling the ball into the net from close range after Antoine Semenyo's cross, for his 26th league goal of the season.
Omar Marmoush sealed the victory in stoppage time with a composed finish from inside the box, boosting City's goal difference to just one less than Arsenal's.
The win moves City to within two points of leaders Arsenal, who face West Ham on Sunday. Arsenal will clinch the title if they win their remaining three matches.
City have a game in hand and next face Crystal Palace on Wednesday before turning attention to the FA Cup final against Chelsea on May 16.
