The President emphasized that such actions contradict international law principles and expressed Uzbekistan's solidarity with the peoples of Kuwait and Bahrain.
️ The parties called for an immediate cessation of actions threatening civilian populations and agreed that all issues should be resolved exclusively through diplomatic means. In the conversation with the King of Bahrain, it was noted that during the holy month of Ramadan, the Muslim ummah should act in unity, demonstrating solidarity and mutual respect.
️ During the discussion with the Emir of Qatar, the sides addressed the escalation of conflicts and stressed the need for an immediate halt to actions endangering state sovereignty and peace. Shavkat Mirziyoyev thanked the Emir for measures to ensure the safety of Uzbek citizens and assist in their repatriation.
️ The President also expressed gratitude to the leaders of Kuwait and Bahrain for their assistance in protecting compatriots and facilitating their return. The leaders of these countries, in turn, acknowledged the timely support and attention from Tashkent.
