The President... of Uzbekistan expressed deep concern over incidents in Oman's territory and emphasized that Uzbekistan advocates for resolving any conflicts exclusively through political-diplomatic and peaceful means via negotiations.
️ The head of state noted the Sultanate's active mediating role in ensuring security in the region and thanked the Sultan for creating conditions to ensure the safety of Uzbek citizens and their return to the Homeland. In turn, the Sultan of Oman expressed gratitude for the support and confirmed confidence in the successful conduct of the upcoming high-level visit to Muscat.
️ On the same day, a phone conversation took place with the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The leaders noted that growing conflicts and contradictions in the region are causing serious concern. It was emphasized that events occurring during the holy month of Ramadan contradict the principles of international law, and any actions threatening peace and stability must be immediately stopped.
️ The President of Uzbekistan expressed solidarity with the leadership and people of the UAE, a strategic partner of the country, and thanked for practical assistance to Uzbek citizens in the Emirates and measures for their return. ️ Additionally, the head of Uzbekistan held a phone conversation with the Crown Prince of Kuwait Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. During the talk, concern was expressed over the escalation of the situation and strikes on infrastructure facilities.
️ It was emphasized that such actions contradict the norms of international law, and in this difficult time, Uzbekistan stands in solidarity with the people of Kuwait. President Mirziyoyev thanked for the practical assistance provided to Uzbek citizens in the country and conveyed warm greetings to the Emir of Kuwait Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
