A recruitment drive has been announced under the Globogate program, offering Uzbek mid-level medical workers the opportunity to work in clinics across Germany. This was reported by the "Work Abroad" Telegram channel of the Migration Agency. The program provides 800 vacant positions throughout Germany, representing a significant opportunity for Uzbek medical professionals to seek employment overseas.
To participate, candidates aged 20–36 who have completed a medical college, have no criminal record, and are in good health will be selected. Participants will work an average of 39 hours per week (8 hours per day). The initial salary is set at 1,900 euros, with the potential to increase to 2,500 euros after professional qualifications are recognized (approximately after 3 months), which could serve as a high-income source for Uzbek workers.
Candidates must be prepared to attend 10 months of free German language courses, with selection conducted through a two-stage process. Participants will receive a 10-month stipend, accommodation, coverage of costs for a B2 German language certificate, document translation and certification, as well as expenses related to visas and air tickets, highlighting the supportive aspects of the program.
Registration will continue until May 15, 2026, allowing for long-term planning. The contact phone number for inquiries is 1282. This initiative aims to expand overseas job opportunities for medical personnel in Uzbekistan, though it may contribute to a brain drain of specialized talent from the country.
