️ Uzbekistan is launching experimental projects to cultivate ginseng for the first time in the country's history. Following negotiations between Uzbekistan's Ministry of Agriculture and the South Korean company FDfive, ginseng plantings are planned in the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region and in the foothill areas of Kashkadarya region.

️ During a meeting in the South Korean city of Dongtan, representatives from Uzbekistan and South Korea also discussed issues related to improving the fertility of saline lands and introducing crops that are resilient to climatic conditions and possess high economic efficiency.

️ The negotiations further focused on the prospects of cultivating various plants in Uzbekistan, including sweet clover, Japanese millet, Italian ryegrass, Sudan grass, alfalfa, and sesbania.

️ For reference: Ginseng is a perennial medicinal plant traditionally grown in Korea, China, and some regions of Russia. Its most valuable part is the root, which fully matures in 4–6 years. Ginseng is known for its beneficial properties: it strengthens the immune system, reduces fatigue, improves blood circulation, and enhances the body's resistance to stress.

️ It is worth noting that the "School of Household Farming" in Termez cultivates bananas, papaya, rosemary, lavender, lemons, figs, broccoli, bell peppers, and other crops adapted to local conditions.
