️ In Uzbekistan, individuals who have been deprived of their driving licenses and continue to operate vehicles will now be detected through specialized cameras installed on roads, with automated measures taken against them. This was officially announced by the Unified Transport Services Center (UTSC).

️ It is reported that across the country, cameras equipped with facial recognition capabilities, along with high-quality photo and video recording devices, have been installed on automobile roads. This system operated in a test mode from February 23 to March 3, 2026, during which it identified several citizens deprived of driving licenses who were operating vehicles, as well as using phones while driving.

️ Now, these devices have begun not only to detect violations but also to apply online measures against offenders. This process is automated and carried out without human intervention.

️ According to Part 3 of Article 135 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, driving a vehicle by a person deprived of the right to drive results in a fine amounting to 50 times the base calculation amount. The fine amount may vary depending on the country's economic conditions.

️ If a person deprived of a driving license continues to drive a vehicle after administrative penalties have been applied, Article 261-2 of the Criminal Code is invoked. Penalties are then escalated: a fine from 50 to 100 times the base calculation amount, corrective labor for up to 2 years, or imprisonment from 2 to 3 years. These measures are implemented to ensure road safety and prevent repeat offenses.
