Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of the Presidential Administration, inspected a number of infrastructure projects in Samarkand on April 24, including the construction of the "Yangi Uzbekistan" residential complex.
She also visited a music school and a kindergarten in the "Geologists" mahalla that are in need of repair. After reconstruction, this kindergarten will become the largest preschool institution in Samarkand, capable of accommodating up to 600 children.
"Yesterday we reviewed several infrastructure projects and assessed the development of the 'Yangi Uzbekistan' complex. We visited facilities that require improvement, such as a music school, and those that need not just major repairs but essentially creation from scratch, like the kindergarten in the 'Geologists' mahalla. After reconstruction, this preschool will become the largest in Samarkand, able to accommodate up to 600 children," Mirziyoyeva wrote on her Telegram channel.
Following the visit, a meeting was held with the leadership of the Samarkand region and districts.
"All the transformations we have seen and those yet to come are part of our president's large-scale systematic work on regional development. I come here regularly to assist the team on the ground in fulfilling the head of state's instructions and to see the real picture with my own eyes, not just from reports," said the head of the Administration.
