According to the Tashkent City Transport Department, new traffic schemes for two bus routes will be introduced starting April 27, 2026.

Bus No. 40 (Sergeli, 12th Quarter – Tashkent Railway Station) will follow a modified route to the station: via Kipchak, Sergeli Yuli, and Obihayet streets without making a U-turn after crossing the bridge.

Bus No. 20 (Ibn Sino, 1st Block – Gulobod Street) will be extended. From the final stop on Gulobod Street, the bus will go via Sakichmon and Zarkaynar streets to Chorsu metro station, then continue along Zarkaynar, Alisher Navoi, Beruni, and Laylitogon streets.

Earlier, Tashkent had already changed the routes of four other buses.
