️ The Ministry of Defense of the Taliban government announced the capture of seven Pakistani military posts in Kandahar province during Operation “Radd al-Zulm” (“Repelling Oppression”).
️ According to Afghan sources, forces of the 6th Border Brigade of the 205th “Al-Badr” Corps... gained control of the facilities, seized weapons and ammunition, with reports of casualties and injuries among Pakistani military personnel.
️ Official Islamabad has not yet confirmed these claims.
️ The situation escalated following a series of Pakistani airstrikes on targets in Kabul, Kandahar, and border provinces, which Pakistan described as Operation “Gazab lil-Haq” (“Wrath for Truth”), purportedly aimed at camps of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants.
️ Amid the fighting, international organizations and the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) have expressed deep concern over the rising civilian casualties. Preliminary UN data as of March 4, 2026, indicates at least 42 civilians killed and over 100 injured since the escalation began.
️ Clashes continue in several provinces along the “Durand Line,” including Khost, Paktika, and Kunar.
