Iran's Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Muhammad Ali Iskandari, declared a significant victory for his country during a 14-day truce. He stated that the United States and Israel failed to achieve their goals of fragmenting Iran and igniting a civil war, while Tehran secured an important success.
Responding to questions about Chinese pressure on Iran regarding the truce, Iskandari emphasized that no pressure was exerted. Instead, pressure was allegedly applied to the U.S. and Israel by NATO (through non-participation in the war), the United Kingdom (by not meeting demands), as well as China and Muslim countries.
The diplomat added that in the UN Security Council, China and Russia jointly used their veto power for Iran's interests for the first time, strengthening Tehran's international standing.
Iskandari listed reasons why Iran considers itself victorious: the Supreme Leader is alive, healthy, and fully leading the country; U.S. claims about the leader's death were false; and Iran maintains distrust of the U.S. and Israel, keeping "a finger on the trigger." He remarked, "Can such a large state be managed without a leader?"
The U.S. regime also announced a historic victory, but the Iranian ambassador dismissed these claims. According to the U.S. vice-president, Iran's proposals were purportedly written by ChatGPT and immediately discarded, which Iskandari viewed as an attempt to undermine his country's independent policy.
