️ President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held telephone conversations on March 4 with the leaders of Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates. ️ The main topics of discussion were the escalating situation in the Middle East, strikes on infrastructure facilities, and threats to regional... security. ️ The President emphasized that such actions contradict the principles of international law, expressed Uzbekistan's solidarity with the peoples of Kuwait and Bahrain, and voiced concern for the safety of its citizens in the region. ️ The parties called for an immediate halt to actions threatening civilian populations and agreed that all issues should be resolved exclusively through diplomatic means. ️ In the conversation with the King of Bahrain, it was noted that during the holy month of Ramadan, the Muslim ummah should act in unity, demonstrating solidarity, brotherhood, and mutual respect. ️ With the Emir of Qatar, the escalation of conflicts was discussed, and the need for an immediate cessation of actions threatening state sovereignty, peace, and stability was emphasized. ️ President Mirziyoyev thanked the Emir for measures to ensure the safety of Uzbek citizens and assist in their repatriation. ️ Gratitude was also expressed to the leaders of Kuwait and Bahrain for their assistance in protecting compatriots and facilitating their return. ️ The calls took place against the backdrop of the ongoing crisis in the Persian Gulf region, which has affected key transport and logistics hubs. ️ The parties agreed to maintain constant high-level coordination on humanitarian and diplomatic issues.
