️ In Uzbekistan, the invasion of cold and humid air masses has led to a record increase in natural gas consumption, causing a drop in pressure in main gas pipelines. The Ministry of Energy announced this and introduced temporary restrictions on the operation of automotive gas filling compressor... stations (AGNKS).
️ The ministry's priority is to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to households and social sector facilities. Consequently, a temporary schedule for methane fuel stations is being implemented nationwide. The restrictions will be in effect from 19:00 on March 4 until 10:00 on March 5.
️ The Ministry of Energy emphasizes that these measures are forced and aimed at maintaining the stability of the energy system. However, the restrictions will not affect public transport and vehicles serving social facilities—gas supply for them will continue as usual.
️ The energy authority apologized to citizens for the inconvenience caused and called for rational use of resources during the cold spell. It is expected that full operation of the stations will resume immediately after pressure stabilizes in the networks.
