️ The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and its diplomatic missions are implementing comprehensive measures to support and ensure the safety of citizens in light of the situation in the Middle East region. This was reported by the MFA press service. ️ Uzbekistan's diplomatic and consular... institutions in the region are conducting round-the-clock (24/7) monitoring of the socio-political and military-political situation. Constant interaction has been established with foreign policy agencies, law enforcement bodies, civil protection services, and aviation administrations of host countries. ️ Hotlines have been organized at embassies and consular institutions, and an MFA call center is operational. All citizen appeals are registered and under constant supervision, with some issues resolved promptly. ️ According to recent data, 2,144 appeals have been received from citizens in the region. They are provided with targeted consular and financial assistance. Compatriots are regularly informed through official websites, social media, and group channels about precautionary measures, flight statuses, and action algorithms. ️ Main appeals concern evacuation, cancellation or rescheduling of flights, provision of temporary accommodation, and financial difficulties due to extended stays. At Dubai, Sharjah, and Doha airports, financial assistance was provided to a group of citizens through the 'Vatandosh' fund. ️ On the instruction of Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, systematic measures are being taken to return citizens to their homeland. Regular and additional flights are being organized, considering the development of the situation and the priority of ensuring safety. Work is ongoing on a constant basis. ️ In particular, systematic evacuation from Saudi Arabia is underway, a repatriation flight by the national airline 'Uzbekistan Airways' from the UAE has been planned, charter flights with airlines are being coordinated, and coordination with aviation regulators in the region is ongoing. ️ The MFA noted that under conditions of closed airspace, capabilities are limited, but work continues round-the-clock. ️ According to the foreign policy agency, as of today, there are no casualties or injuries among Uzbekistan's citizens in the region. The situation is under constant control.
