️ On March 4, a telephone conversation took place between Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said. This was reported by the President's press service.
️ During the dialogue, the current complex situation in the Middle East was discussed, with it noted... that the emerging instability is causing serious concern.
️ The President of Uzbekistan expressed concern over such actions in Oman's territory and emphasized that Uzbekistan firmly supports resolving any contradictions and conflicts through political-diplomatic and peaceful means, via negotiations.
️ The head of state particularly acknowledged the active mediation role and consistent efforts of the sultan in ensuring security in the region.
️ Furthermore, he expressed deep gratitude to the sultan for the conditions being created to ensure the safety of Uzbek citizens in Oman and their return to their homeland.
️ In turn, the Sultan of Oman thanked the Uzbek leader for feelings of solidarity and unity and expressed confidence that the upcoming high-level historic visit to Muscat will be conducted at a high level.
