️ The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Uzbekistan, Muhammad Ali Iskandariy, made a statement on the tense situation in the Middle East at a press conference on Wednesday, March 4. The diplomat criticized the policies of the Donald Trump administration, announcing that negotiations with... the US have been completely halted and that American military bases in the region are under direct Iranian targeting.
️ The ambassador focused on the Trump administration's policies, noting that it promoted the slogan "America First" upon coming to power, but in current Middle Eastern policy, Israeli interests have taken precedence. He claimed this demonstrates the failures of the US regime in the region and its dependence on Israel.
️ Muhammad Ali Iskandariy stated that the US is allegedly attempting to undermine existing mechanisms in the international legal system. In his view, America is taking all measures to prevent its decline, with Iran and other resistance forces serving merely as a pretext on this path.
️ The ambassador emphasized that US forces use military bases in the Middle East to attack Iran, but during retaliatory strikes, they shift to non-military objects, using them as a "shield." He asserted that Iranian strikes are directed only at US military bases and intelligence centers, not at civilian populations.
️ According to Iskandariy, some attacks on regional countries are not carried out by Iran but are actions of the Israeli "Mossad" organization. He described US military bases as hubs for Israeli intelligence activities, highlighting their presence as a major cause of conflicts in the region.
️ The diplomat pointed out that the US regime supposedly provides Israel with $50 billion in military aid annually, which exceeds at least Iran's five-year total military budget. He separately stressed that Iran does not seek to possess nuclear weapons and maintains a policy of protecting civilian populations.
