President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has departed for a working visit to Moscow. The visit's agenda includes participation in events marking the 81st anniversary of Victory in World War II.
According to the press service of the Uzbek leader, the program provides for the head of state to take part in the ceremonial events dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the Victory.
Earlier on Friday, May 8, Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Victory Park in Tashkent, where he took part in a memorial ceremony dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Honor. The head of state laid a wreath at the "Ode to Resilience" monument and paid tribute to the fallen heroes.
