The FIFA PASS system, as clarified by the US Embassy in Uzbekistan, offers priority scheduling for visa interviews to holders of tickets for the FIFA World Cup. However, this system does not guarantee visa issuance and does not simplify the standard security checks that all applicants must undergo, according to the diplomatic mission.

Embassy officials emphasized: "A ticket to the championship does not guarantee a visa. All applicants go through the same standard security check." This indicates that FIFA PASS merely assists in organizing interview schedules but does not alter the core aspects of the visa process, which remain stringent and uniform for all applicants.

To use the FIFA PASS system, applicants must follow these steps: purchase a ticket on the official FIFA website, fill out a consent form on fifa.com/tickets with passport details, complete the DS-160 visa application, and schedule an interview. If the data in the visa system matches that in the consent form, earlier interview scheduling becomes possible.

The embassy urged applicants to attend interviews and answer all questions honestly, reinforcing that the FIFA PASS system is designed to streamline interview logistics rather than facilitate visa approval. While the system aims to provide convenience for World Cup participants, the standard visa policies of the US regime reportedly remain unchanged, potentially adding layers of complexity for travelers seeking entry.
