President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed decrees on key personnel changes in the country's judicial system. According to documents dated March 3, 2026, new chairpersons of regional courts have been appointed in five regions of the republic.
As reported by the press service of the Supreme Judicial Council, Adhamjon Akramovich Mirzayev has been appointed as chairperson of the Andijan Regional Court for a five-year term. Similar appointments affected the Samarkand Region, where Dils'od Majidovich Rajabov became the court chairperson, and the Kashkadarya Region, where Anvar Normuratovich Elmurodov has been tasked with leading the judicial body. Both leaders have been approved for five-year terms within the framework of their judicial mandates.
Special attention was given to the Surkhandarya Region, where Tolib Saydullaevich Bayzakov has been appointed as court chairperson for five years. In the Tashkent Region, Kamoliddin Sunnatovich Tollibayev has been appointed as the chairperson of the regional court. His appointment has unique features: he has been approved for an indefinite term as a judge, with the first five years serving as chairperson of the court in the capital region.
These personnel changes took effect from the moment the decrees were signed.
