Uzbekistan's spring season is expected to feature temperatures above the long-term average and reduced precipitation. The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has forecast warmer and drier weather for the country during March, April, and May.

Uzhydromet's monthly forecast for March indicates temperatures around 10-15°C, with possible drops to 6-9°C on some days. In the second and third decades of the month, nighttime temperatures are expected to range from 3-8°C to 8-13°C, while daytime temperatures will vary from 12-17°C to 23-28°C. Precipitation is forecast as intermittent rain in plains and rain with snow in mountains.

Weather conditions are influenced by La Niña in the Pacific Ocean, North Atlantic circulation phases, and the Indian Ocean Dipole. Currently, La Niña is in a "passive" state, which typically brings cold and dry air flows to the region, but this pattern is not fully holding this year.

The shift of North Atlantic circulation to a negative phase in early March may lead to increased moisture in the first half of the month, but a drier period is anticipated in the second half.
