Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the newly opened 'Pavilion' trade complex in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of the capital. The facility is a modern space designed to introduce new standards of trade culture in Uzbekistan's construction materials market.
The $25 million project was implemented on a 4.6-hectare site. The three-story building has a total area of 42,000 square meters. For visitor convenience, extensive infrastructure was created, including parking for 1,000 cars and open public spaces. The launch of the complex created 2,000 new jobs.
'Pavilion' houses 500 retail outlets offering a wide range of construction and renovation products. A key innovation is a unified electronic platform: information on product availability and current prices is available online. This solution ensures market transparency and simplifies the purchasing process. Security is monitored by 500 CCTV cameras, and the expected visitor flow is up to 3 million people per year.
During the visit, the head of state noted that Tashkent historically had 12 gates, and today a network of similar specialized centers should be created around the capital. Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the importance of promoting national products and attracting local manufacturers, noting that the population's demands are growing along with living standards.
