Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Bog'imaydon mahalla in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of the capital to review the results of a large-scale beautification program. The mahalla, founded in 1987, has become a model for the implementation of the state program “Year of Development of the Mahalla and the Whole Society,” adopted in February of this year.

Today, about 5,500 people live in 41 multi-story buildings in the mahalla. A modern social and sports infrastructure has been created for them: 20 children's playgrounds, 11 workout areas, 3 mini-football fields, and a tennis court. Two kindergartens provide coverage for nearly 500 children.

Economic activity in the mahalla is also growing, with over 70 business entities operating here. This has allowed for almost complete resolution of youth employment: out of 1,048 young people, 949 are employed.

Special attention has been paid to ecology and safety. An ecopark created in 2022, where about 4,500 trees have been planted, has become a center of attraction for residents of all ages. Also located here is the “Nuroniy maskani” for veterans. The safety of the housing stock is ensured by modern technologies: all entrances to buildings are equipped with surveillance cameras and security panels, and vehicle access to the territory is fully controlled by digital systems.

During the visit, the head of state spoke with elders and youth at the sports grounds, and also joined the celebration of sumalak. Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that a well-maintained mahalla is the backbone of society, and strengthening social cohesion and a healthy lifestyle remains a priority task of the state.
