During an official visit by a delegation from Uzbekistan's Kashkadarya region to Belarus, negotiations were held and agreements were reached. The delegation familiarized itself with the operations of livestock complexes and trade facilities in the Braslav, Shumilin, and Postav districts of the Vitebsk region. Meetings with regional leadership discussed expanding economic cooperation and establishing joint production chains.

The visit included meetings with representatives of the "Asl Yuksalish Savdo" and "Muborak qorako'lchilik" enterprises, as well as the "Sirotinskiy" livestock farm. As a result, an agreement was reached for the Uzbek side to lease 4,000 hectares of arable land in Belarus on a long-term basis. A large-scale project is planned on this land, with the first phase involving the rearing of 1,000 head of cattle.

An export agreement was also signed: the "Asl Yuksalish Savdo" enterprise will annually supply 60,000 tons of agricultural products to Belarus's "Dobronom" retail network. The product range includes dried fruits, legumes, melons, and grapes.

The parties discussed humanitarian cooperation as well. Agreements were made to develop tourism ties and organize familiarization trips for tourism sector representatives from both countries. Additionally, in a meeting with the Chairman of the Belarusian Federation of Trade Unions, Yuri Senko, an initiative to organize a tour program for the Kashkadarya regional theater troupe in Minsk was supported.

Previously, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko, in a meeting with the Uzbek ambassador, stated Belarus's readiness to assist Uzbekistan in nuclear power plant construction. He claimed this would be beneficial for Belarus given the scale of the Uzbek market. Proposals were made to expand cooperation in agriculture, machinery, and technologies.
