The highlight of the day was the brilliant victory of local athlete Shukurjon Aminova, who secured the top prize of the prestigious championship in a hard-fought battle.

In the final match in the under 57 kg weight category, Aminova faced the titled Japanese representative Mio Shirakane. Demonstrating high skill and unwavering determination to win, the Uzbek judoka defeated her opponent, securing first place.

For Shukurjon Aminova, this success was historic: she reached the podium of such a high-level tournament for the first time in her professional career. The gold medal in Tashkent confirmed Uzbekistan's status as one of the leading world powers in this sport and served as an excellent gift for local fans.
