The Uzbekistan national football team will hold a training camp in Tashkent from May 6 to May 26 as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Head coach Fabio Cannavaro has announced an expanded squad for the camp. The training sessions will take place at the National Football Center.

During the camp, the team will play closed-door friendly matches against Super League clubs. These matches are a key part of the team's preparation for the World Cup.

The 2026 World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Uzbekistan will participate in the tournament for the first time in its history.
