Uzbekistan's airports maintained steady positive dynamics in passenger flow, number of flights, and cargo transportation during the first quarter of 2026. According to Uzbekistan Airports company, in the first three months of the year, the country's airports served a total of 3,987,313 passengers. This represents a 19% increase compared to the first quarter of 2025.

The majority of passengers – 3.32 million – were on international routes, while over 663,500 people used domestic flights. During this period, a total of 30,859 flights were operated, which is 10% more than the same period last year. Tashkent Airport traditionally maintained its leadership, handling 2.56 million passengers and 19,000 flights during the quarter.

Among regional airports, the highest results were recorded. In the first quarter, 19,783 tons of cargo and mail were transported through the country's airports, which is 14% more than last year. According to the company's analysis, these indicators demonstrate the stable growth of the aviation network, expansion of international route networks, and increasing mobility of the population within the country.
