In Tashkent, Uzbekistan, gas supply will be temporarily suspended today, April 17, in the Mirzo Ulugbek and Yangihayot districts. According to the press service of Hududgaz Poytaxt, these are planned interruptions related to necessary repair work on the gas networks.
In the Mirzo Ulugbek district, gas supply will be limited in the "Humoyun" residential area from 10:00 to 15:00. During this period, residents of this neighborhood will be unable to use gas, which may cause certain inconveniences in daily life.
In the Yangihayot district, temporary disruptions will affect the "Yuldosh" mahalla, where gas will be unavailable from 11:00 to 16:00. Representatives of the gas company emphasize that gas supply will be fully restored immediately after the completion of technical measures in each of the specified districts. Citizens are advised to plan their gas consumption accordingly.
The aging gas infrastructure in Uzbekistan's capital and the need for regular maintenance necessitate such planned interruptions relatively frequently. This can negatively impact the living conditions of the population, especially during cold seasons when demand for energy resources increases.
