Inspectors from the Tashkent City Department of Ecology and Climate Change conducted a monitoring operation at the DP Petrol gas station located on Bunyodkor Street in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent. The inspection aimed to ensure compliance with environmental requirements and reduce negative impact on the environment.
During the review of the station's operations, special attention was paid to the sale of AI-80 gasoline, which is considered the most harmful to the atmosphere due to its high level of pollutant emissions.
The inspectors thoroughly explained the requirements of current legislation to the responsible persons, emphasizing the need for strict adherence to environmental norms, reduction of harmful emissions, and protection of public health.
Following the inspection, the station's management signed a written commitment to refrain from selling AI-80 gasoline.
At the end of last year, inspectors from Uzenergoinspection also conducted raids after the ban on AI-80 gasoline sales. Within a week, they found 23 cases of non-compliance and over 300,000 liters of fuel that did not meet state standards.
