The Main Directorate of Internal Affairs (GUVD) of Tashkent City has released a detailed video report on an incident that occurred on March 30 in the Yashnabad District. The footage shows 36-year-old driver Bobur Pardayev, who was under the influence of alcohol, assaulting a patrol officer, Sardorbek Khamroyev, by striking him in the face with an elbow. According to Khamroyev, they responded to a call on Musavvir Street and found Pardayev intoxicated, refusing to comply with lawful requests and insulting the officers.

The officer stated that Pardayev hit him in the jaw, after which they subdued him using a special device—a stun gun—and took him to the police station. In the video, Pardayev expressed deep remorse for his actions, particularly regretting the damage to the reputation of his brother—a senior officer in the Syrdarya Regional Internal Affairs Directorate, Lieutenant Colonel Sherzod Pardayev. He said, "Because I drank, we argued. Then the road patrol officers arrived, and a conflict arose between us. In a drunken state, I raised my hand. I regret what I did a thousand times, I ask for forgiveness. If I had caused a traffic accident, others could have suffered because of me. I undermined the reputation of my brother, who worked in the authorities for so many years. Alcohol is to blame for everything. This will not happen again. I repent."

The incident took place on the night of March 30 in the Yashnabad District following a traffic accident involving Malibu and Leapmotor cars. The Leapmotor driver called the emergency number 102 and reported that the Malibu driver, without license plates, had caused an accident and was behaving aggressively. It was later revealed that the violator had run a red light and caused the collision. He resisted the arriving patrol officers and even struck one of them with an elbow to the face.

In the video that spread on social media, the driver is seen hitting the officer, while a man identified as his brother attempts to intervene in the situation. A criminal case has been initiated against the troublemaker for failing to comply with the lawful demands of internal affairs officers. Shortly after, his brother Sherzod Pardayev was dismissed from his position by ministerial order for attempting to interfere in the situation. This case highlights the serious consequences of alcohol intoxication and the impact of familial connections on official matters.
