Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated People's Artist of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, artistic director of the "Yalla" ensemble, Farrukh Zakirov, on his 80th birthday. This was reported by the press service of the Kazakh leader. Tokayev awarded Zakirov the Order of Friendship, Second Class, for his significant contribution to the development of culture and musical art, as well as strengthening friendly relations between peoples.

In the congratulatory message from the President of Kazakhstan, it is stated: "Thanks to your innate talent, inexhaustible vitality, and unique diligence, you have won the sincere affection of millions of fans worldwide. Your art has been uniting different generations and peoples for many years. In Kazakhstan, you are valued for your unique voice and famous songs performed by the legendary 'Yalla' ensemble, which has become a cultural phenomenon of an entire era."

Previously, Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded Farrukh Zakirov the Order "For Great Services" on the occasion of his anniversary. Additionally, by decision of the state leader, Music and Art School No. 7 in Tashkent was named after the singer. These actions reflect recognition of Zakirov's contributions to the cultures of both countries.

Farrukh Zakirov's career has played a key role in strengthening cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. His work with the "Yalla" ensemble harmoniously blended the musical traditions of the two nations, fostering regional cooperation. These awards serve not only to honor his artistic achievements but also to deepen the friendship between the two states, highlighting the importance of cultural diplomacy in Central Asia.
