On April 30, the Criminal Court of Rishton district heard an administrative case against a school teacher, identified as D.I., born in 1999. The teacher was accused of sending sexually explicit messages to a minor female student via Telegram on April 1, 2026, at 10:33 PM.

During the court hearing, D.I. admitted to knowing the student beforehand and having corresponded with her. He claimed he sent the sexually explicit message to make her leave him alone. The teacher expressed remorse, acknowledged his mistake, and pleaded guilty, assuring the court that such behavior would not be repeated.

The minor victim, accompanied by her mother, testified that D.I. was indeed a teacher at her school. She stated that they had been texting via SMS, and on April 1, the teacher sent her sexually explicit messages via Telegram. She requested legal action against the teacher for his misconduct.

The court found D.I. guilty of violating Part 1 of Article 41-1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (sexual harassment). He was sentenced to 5 days of administrative detention and ordered to pay 309,000 soums in court costs.
