11 Individuals Face Trial in Mass Poisoning Case of Kindergarten Children in Tashkent Region

A criminal case regarding the mass poisoning of children in kindergartens in Tashkent Region in September 2025 has been transferred to the Buka District Court. According to Supreme Court press secretary Aziz Obidov, 11 individuals have been brought to trial. They are persons who held managerial and technical positions in companies involved in the production, supply, and servicing of products for kindergartens.

Following a teenager's hit-and-run of a traffic police officer in a BMW M4 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan's Prosecutor General's Office investigated a controversial video interview with Asadbek Jumayev, head of Uzbelas Performance tuning studio. In the interview, Jumayev admitted his company serviced BMWs with special lights (one without license plates) and said he "got off with a small fine."

Police Officer in Khorezm Sentenced for Drunk Driving Fatality and Fleeing Scene

In Shavat district, a police officer from the Khorezm Regional Department of Internal Affairs, driving a Tracker while intoxicated, struck and killed a 29-year-old woman walking on the roadside with her husband. The driver fled the scene without providing assistance. The woman was taken to a hospital by a passing car but died from her injuries.

Assistant Prosecutor in Uchtepa District Arrested with $15,000

An assistant prosecutor in Uchtepa District, Tashkent, has been arrested for illegal activities. According to the State Security Service, the individual, who previously served as an assistant prosecutor in Shaykhontohur District until September 2025 and currently holds the position in Uchtepa District, was caught receiving $15,000 from a businessman in exchange for leasing two building basements in Shaykhontohur.

Rare Celestial Event: Six-Planet Parade Visible in Uzbekistan's Sky
